This project is the work of surveying the 265 houses in Harvard that are at least 100 years old. The first phase of the project is to photograph each of the properties. The second phase is to research the deeds to determine the ownership history and the vital statistics of the property. In the third phase, we will document the history of each property, and will document the description of the architecture of the house. In the fourth and final phase, we will evaluate the significance of the history and the architecture of each property. The resulting documents will be our House History document and the completed MHC Building Inventory Form.
On October 2015, the photography phase was completed by four volunteers: Elizabeth Curry, Loretta Espey, Lynn Cooke and Joe Theriault.
